Find your focus, design your system, and build your confidence…to go…

A Coaching Program to Help You Get Your Shit Together

thought bubble with the words hey you.

I see you, with your seemingly insurmountable mountain of shit and to-dos sitting there, staring back at you, waiting for you to find the brain-space to actually get it together and start chipping away at it.

You’ve forgotten what it feels like to not have a million things to do or a million thoughts in your head. You’re tired of being so unorganized, so all over the place…so weird and awkward.

Green mountain with poop.

You want to remember what it feels like to relax, to not have a to-do list the size of Mount Everest or a million worrying thoughts in your head.

You want that feeling of satisfaction and clarity that’s supposed to come with keeping track of all the things. You want to feel that clarity of being able to focus, that fantastic feeling that you can actually hold it together, that you could be confident that you haven’t forgotten about anything.

Honestly, you just want the overwhelm to go away.

You’ve seemingly tried all the things.

Making lists – either handwritten or digital – just didn’t work out. Where did you even put that one list, anyway?

You love picking out the cutest, quirkiest planners from the stationary aisle at Target…only for them to end up in the pile of unused planners on your desk or dresser.

You have lots of pretty colored Post-Its, but they serve mainly as decoration throughout your home, rather than actually sparking your memory about what you were trying to remind yourself about.

You’ve downloaded random apps based on elaborate systems that you hear about on a random podcast or in a Facebook group or ad. But who has time to learn this complicated system that doesn’t even make sense in your head?

Don’t even mention the Google or phone reminders you have set up…that honestly, you just mute as soon as they pop up.

Finding what works for your brain isn’t easy. Being a parent, trying to manage all of the things and be everything for everyone is a recipe for overstimulation and overwhelm.

All you want to do is have time to actually exist and enjoy yourself.

You’re so focused on finding the one right system that works – without taking into account that maybe those systems weren’t designed with your specific needs, or your specific brain, in mind.

You can’t force yourself into a mold that doesn’t fit you.

What you really need is:

To start getting yourself comfortable with experimentation and testing out new ideas and thought patterns.

To try out different pieces of different systems and different tools to see which ones click in your brain and make sense for your needs.

To find the processes and thinking that resonates with you and makes your brain actually feel pretty good.

Experimentation can help that comfort and confidence to slowly start peeking through the overgrown and messy field that is your mind. But sometimes, as you’re experimenting and trying all these different things…it’s easy for the overwhelm to grow…how the heck do you find just the right tools to climb this mountain?

You could use someone to help you pick the right tools.

Hey, I’m Sarah,

As an accountant by day, wrangling two elementary school kids and two young huskies, getting my Masters degree, studying and sitting for the CPA exam, plus keeping on top of all of the other shit the hubby and I have going on, I’ve learned a thing or two about getting comfortable with experimenting and making up my own systems.

From helping family members, friends, and coworkers throughout the years, I’ve gotten pretty darn good at helping others talk through exactly what they’re struggling with, figure out what to experiment with, and how to narrow in on what is actually working and what is just a distraction. And it’s different for everyone.

With me as your coach, I’ll help you nail down exactly what you need, what to ditch, and how the hell to get yourself to focus. We’ll find the tools and processes that work for you – no cookie cutter system here.

Sarah Bowser.

Sarah opened my eyes to a whole new way of thinking about how to organize and reframe my day/week. She gave me such clarity on small steps that I could take to help make my week more productive, less stressful and more fun. She always tied it back to ensure I was being true to my authentic self which made all the difference. Sarah is easy to talk to, a good listener and can help you see things in a new way. I’d highly recommend working with her.

This is for you.
  • You’re ready and willing to test out a whole bunch of different things.
  • You know that you need to get your shit together, that it’s time to figure out how the hell to focus on one thing at a time.
  • You’re ready to get your confidence back, and are willing to try all the things to get there.
This is not for you.
  • You’re looking for someone to tell you exactly what to do and when to do it. This is not one size fits all.
  • You’re not willing to experiment or allow yourself to feel all the feelings as you go along.

What you can expect week to week

These six sessions are going to be super customized to exactly what you need. I could give you super specific examples of what our sessions could look like – but that doesn’t mean it’s going to actually be what you specifically need.

So, here’s a general breakdown of how the sessions will go, but it will be much more specific to you:

  • Session 1: We’ll figure out our starting point. We’ll go through your onboarding form, identify your main goals and some of the things that have been holding you back, and start diving into identifying all of the things that you’re trying to keep track of.
  • Sessions 2-5: What happens during these sessions is dependent on your particular needs, but we’ll work on figuring out priorities, what tools and techniques work for your mind, and start experimenting with different options.
  • Session 6: For our last session together, we’ll reassess your goal and the progress you’ve made towards it. We’ll piece together the different pieces of the system we’ve worked on over the last several weeks, and develop a plan for you to continue implementing your newfound time management and organizational skills.

Some FAQs for you…

Do I have to apply to be coached by you?

Nope, no application necessary! We’ll just hop on a quick, free 20-minute info session to go over details and make sure we’d be a good fit working together. Click the button at the bottom of the page to schedule your call!

I’m already overwhelmed. How am I going to manage this on top of all of the other shit I have going on?

My goal is to help you lessen the overwhelm, not add to it. That’s why our calls are only 45 minutes, and I do my best to ensure that anything needing to be done or any experimenting between sessions is tailored to ensure it doesn’t overwhelm you any more. And if you start to feel overwhelmed during our time together – tell me! We’ll reassess and readjust to make sure this works for YOU.

How do I know I’ll actually find a system that works? How will this be different from everything else I’ve tried?

One-size fits all or cookie cutter systems aren’t made for everyone’s brains. And these systems don’t make it easy to figure out which pieces to take and which to leave behind.

During our time together, you’ll learn how to experiment and be able to pick out the pieces and tools that do make sense for you – and how you can make them your own. Once you get comfortable with trying out and trying on different tricks and techniques – it will almost be like the clouds opened up, the sun is shining, and you’re no longer hiding in this massive wind and snow storm in your mind. You’ll figure out what works for you to get you to focus, to get you to stay organized and on top of everything. You’ll finally feel confident that you can keep up with all of the day to day shit. You’ll remember what it’s like to feel bored.

Do you offer a payment plan for the coaching investment?

Of course! We can discuss a payment plan that works best for you during your free info session.

Is there going to be an additional monetary commitment for the tools I’ll be experimenting with?

It depends on what tools you decide you want to experiment with. A lot of them are free, while some may have a cost to them, either one-time or subscription. Many of those will offer a free trial. But as we work on figuring out which tools work best for you, we’ll take cost into consideration as part of that process. If a tool with an associated cost isn’t going to fit into your budget, then we’re not going to use it.

I started coaching with Sarah to get a handle on my overwhelming email inbox I had avoided for far too long. She helped me finally get the courage to tackle it with specific and easy to apply strategies that I was able to start implementing that day!
